They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Which, if you think about it, means that every person has his/her own definition of beauty. Or at least their own definition of what they find beautiful. Sure. There is a definition of beauty in the dictionary.

the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit

Let’s read that again, carefully.

the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit

While it doesn’t explicitly state the senses of the beholder, it can be inferred… what pleasures the senses of one person may not for another person. Hence, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

For that reason, we say “BEAUTY CANNOT BE DEFINED.” Or perhaps we should more accurately state that beauty cannot be defined generally. Merriam-Webster’s definition implies that the definition of beauty is a personal definition. It’s Phantasy Photos’ hashtag. It’s Phantasy Photos’ Movement. It’s part of Phantasy Photos’ Mission.

EMPOWERMENT & LIBERATION
Through boudoir photography, Phantasy Photos, a Las Vegas boutique photo studio, enables all people to begin a journey of discovery, self-expression, and self-love. We help them DEFINE THEIR OWN BEAUTY because we firmly believe that BEAUTY CANNOT BE DEFINED. We help people liberate themselves from their insecurities, empowering them to become the confident, beautiful, elegant, radiant angels they are meant to be.

Each one of us needs to create our own definition of beauty… that is, define our own beauty. When do you feel beautiful? What makes you feel beautiful?

Did you have trouble answering those questions? It doesn’t surprise me. Those are hard questions to answer, even when you do feel beautiful.

Let us ask you some simpler questions. Do you feel your beauty is fleeting, sometimes there, and at other times gone? Do you feel decidedly not beautiful more often than you feel beautiful? Yes? Why do you think that is? Because you’re showing your age? Because you don’t have that younger body anymore?

Or maybe, the reasons are more sinister. Has someone, even multiple people, convinced you that you’re not beautiful? Perhaps it’s the plethora of skin care, beauty, weight loss, and fitness product advertisements sublimely telling you that you need their products, need to lose weight, need to get into better physical shape, need to eat healthier, need to look beautiful?

We believe everyone is beautiful, inside and outside, just the way they are. Those companies use sublime messages to convince you that you need their products to be beautiful. But you have to read between the lines to receive the real message: you’re not beautiful the way you are, so you need to buy their product, service, or subscription.

The problem is not just the sublime messages… it’s the results or lack thereof. You buy what they are hawking, try it out, but don’t see the results these companies claim in their advertisements quickly enough, or not at all, even if they state that you might have different results than the people in their advertisements.

If you doubt your beauty, as most people do, we believe that you just need to be shown that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Once you’ve been shown just how beautiful you are, the seed is planted: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Just the way you are.

That’s what a Phantasy Photos’ Boudoir Experience is all about. It’s our job to capture your beauty and show you just how beautiful you are so that you begin to believe you are beautiful, embrace your unique beauty, love yourself. Just as you are.

You’ll start to see your beauty even before we start photographing you, when you see yourself in the mirror after hair and makeup service. You’ll start to believe it when we show you a couple of photos off the back of the camera. And you’ll start to feel it when you see your photos onscreen during the same day photo reveal.

You might arrive for your Phantasy Photos’ Boudoir Experience not feeling very beautiful since you come to the studio without makeup and styled hair. But we know that you will leave feeling beautiful. Together, we will DEFINE YOUR BEAUTY. All you have to do is book your Phantasy Photos’ Boudoir Experience.
